Paul Banks, 76, of Murrysville, formerly of Penn Hills, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 25, 2021 with his family by his side. He was predeceased by his parents, Carl and Evelyn (Williams) Banks, and the love of his life, Carole Nicholes. He is survived by his loving family, his son, Matthew (Karen) Banks; daughter, Caroline Banks; and his three cherished grandsons, Ryan and Ethan Banks and Eli Howard. Paul is also survived by his dear sister, Carole (Larry) Mack and his brother, Richard Banks, as well as many longtime true friends. Paul was born on the North Side of Pittsburgh and graduated from North Catholic High School. He received his BA from Slippery Rock University and continued his education at the University of Pittsburgh and Indiana University in Pennsylvania. His professional career has been spent as a psychologist at the Penn Hills School District and as a private practice counselor. He will be remembered as a kind, generous and loving father and grandfather who shared his intelligence and quick-wittedness. He was loved by all who knew him and he will be sorely missed. Paul didn’t ask for any formal service, but for us to remember all the good memories and good times we shared with him together. Arrangements entrusted to TRENZ FUNERAL HOME INC., Penn Hills.
