Clifford Abbott – Perryopolis – The Mon Valley Independent


Clifford Abbott, 67, of Perryopolis, died Wednesday June 15, 2022 at his home. Born December 21, 1954 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Charles H. and the late Martha E. Hauer Abbott. A resident of Perryopolis for 38 years, Mr. Abbott was a truck driver for Lynch Sanitation, Fayette Waste and retired from GRS Trucking. He was a life member of the Perry Township Volunteer Fire Department, a member of the Western Pennsylvania Fireman’s Association, and a former member of the Smock Fire Department. Cliff enjoyed driving and racing stock cars and could always be found working in his yard or lending a helping hand to his neighbors. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Homer Abbott, to whom he would have been married for 38 years in September; sister, Darlene Dourlaine of Clairton; two sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Carol and Russell Fisher of Dawson and Kathy and Larry Pishko of Ruffs Dale; and brother-in-law, Marion Homer and wife Pam of Bentleyville; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Sandy Barnhart. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 191 Liberty St., Perryopolis, PA, 724-7362515. The funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, with Pastor Simeon Hatcher of Perryopolis Baptist Church. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery.
