A key AFC North battle is set to take place on Sunday afternoon near the shores of Lake Erie, as two teams down the division try to climb as the Ben Roethlisberger and Pittsburgh Steelers prepare to take on the Browns from Cleveland.

The Browns enter Week 8 with a 4-3 record. Long away from their start to the 2021 season, they are looking to win back-to-back games with the return of Baker Mayfield after missing last Sunday’s game with a shoulder injury. In Thursday night’s game last week, Case Keenum and rowback D’Ernest Johnson led the offense for Cleveland in their 17-14 win over the Denver Broncos. Johnson ended up rushing for 146 yards and touchdowns, while former Viking Keenum threw for 199 yards and a touchdown pass to Chase McLaughlin.

Pittsburgh is coming out of its week off after winning back-to-back games to bring its record down to .500. After starting the season 1-3, the Steelers managed to secure victories at Heinz Field against the Seattle Broncos and Seahawks, who were injured two weeks ago. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger started to find his rhythm before the bye, including in the win over Denver, where he threw for 253 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

It will be the 140th all-time meeting between the two longtime rivals, with the Steelers posting a 77-61-1 record against the Browns. However, the Browns won both meetings during the 2020 season.
