The ‘Puttery’ to Bring Indoor Miniature Golf to Pittsburgh’s Strip District

The Strip District is rapidly expanding its entertainment district, and a new high-end mini-golf course is joining the party.

Drive Shack Inc., a Dallas-based recreation company, brings a Puttery location to the Strip District, with three nine-hole themed courses and multiple bars and lounges on two floors. The Puttery location will be the anchor of a new development for the neighborhood: The Vision on Fifteenth, an eight-story mixed-use building featuring 275,000 square feet of commercial, research and retail space .

“Pittsburgh is nationally known for its energetic sports culture, so it was only a matter of time before we brought Puttery to the city of champions,” said Hana Khouri, President and CEO. of Drive Shack Inc., in a statement.

The Puttery will become the neighborhood’s second high-end mini-golf venue, joining Puttshack, which plans to open in The Terminal building later this year. Puttery Pittsburgh will be located at 116 15th St. The Puttery has opened additional locations in Dallas and Charlotte, and is expanding to Philadelphia, Chicago, Miami and other US cities.

It will occupy 19,000 square feet and offer views of the city while patrons play putt-putt. Food will also be available.

Local developer Burns Scalo Real Estate has partnered with Bridgeville-based RDC Inc. to build the Vision at 15th complex. The complex is expected to open this summer. Puttery Pittsburgh is expected to open in early 2023.
